The amazing feature of the city wave is that it does not require a single drop of water and can be used at any time and everywhere - independent of the weather. 

A rolling special surface formed like a wave bears surfers on specially shaped surfboards on an unending ride. The city wave, the mobile wave designed by Dipl.-Ing. Rainer Klimaschewski and his active team, can be erected indoors as well as outdoors on an area of 140 square meters. 45 square meters of wave surface provide enough area to experience surfing for the very first time or to practice for an upcoming surfing vacation.

City wave invites all visitors to the ispo to surrender to the fascination of surfing. Depending on their skill level, riders can tackle the wave either lying down, kneeling or standing on the board. A number of surf pros will demonstrate how it is done and ensure that everyone “attacking the surf” can do so safely.

City wave is located in the outdoor atrium in front of A3/B3 and is open for the entire duration of the trade show.
